15th Street Renovation
West Vancouver, BC
PROJECT VALUE | $500,000 PROJECT SIZE | 2500 square feet
PROJECT SCOPE | Initially a post and beam house, this project integrated all of FNDA’s holistic and humanist ideas. Of central concern to the design team was the noise from the busy street. The design solution, a berm with cedar hedge, serves to provide both privacy and a sound barrier. The babbling stream located in the inner courtyard further dampens the sound and provides a tranquil entrance to the home.
UNIQUE FEATURES | Nearly invisible from the street, this once ordinary house has been transformed into the quiet sanctum of a garden courtyard. This project was published in Western Living Magazine.
